Sacha Deshmukh has been a chief executive for over 20 years, leading organisations that navigate complex environments and global geopolitics. His experience includes five years as the chief executive of Amnesty International, as well as serving as CEO of UNICEF UK, Chief Executive of Smart Energy GB, Executive Director of the UK Parliamentary & Health Service Ombudsman, and nine years as Chief Executive of the global communications company MHP Group.
In addition to his executive roles, Sacha was a Board Chair and non-executive director of several organisations. He was a non-executive director of the UK Fundraising Regulator for nine years, served on the Board of Consumer Focus (a UK government non-departmental public body), and for many years chaired the international NGO War Child and was the Vice Chair of Citizens Advice England & Wales.
Over the last two decades, Sacha Deshmukh has steered organisations through tough business strategy decisions amid turbulent international affairs. In many of his roles, he has been a public face, subject to considerable media, political, and social media scrutiny, while managing teams across multiple markets and continents.
Now, Sacha offers trusted counsel as an independent advisor to businesses and business leaders, as well as serving as a Non-Executive Director on boards.
